From Jan to April, building materials industry continues rapid growth(5/21/2010)

According to the Ministry of Industry Web news, Jan-April, above-scale industrial added value construction materials continued to maintain a rapid growth, year on year at constant prices increased 30.2% year on year growth rate accelerated to 16%.

According to reports, cement products, building materials industry to stimulate the industrial growth continues to increase, fueling growth in building materials industry by 5.1%; cement manufacturing, brick and building block manufacturing building materials industry are driving an increase of 4.7 and 2.7 %.

From Jan to April, the privately held enterprise value-added growth rate of 31.1% over the previous year, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises and foreign-controlled business enterprises holding value added grew faster than the 20% holding of state-owned holding enterprises and collective enterprises as value-added growth rates year on year 16.4% and 16.1%.(by China Leiyuan, 5/21/2010)
