Vietnam's import share of domestic sharply decline while float glass increased(2009/11/22)


According to the Vietnamese "the customs," November 19 reported that Vietnam's Competition Authority survey shows that from 2006, Vietnam began to import large quantities of float glass in 2007 than in 2006, imports rose 69.3% in 2008 compared with an increase of 245.3 percent, 2009 years, one quarter growth rate remains high.

A result of increased imports, the Vietnamese domestic float glass market share year after year decline in 2007 from 97.4% in 2006 to 96.2% in 2008 down to 83.5%, in the first three quarters continue to fall to 73.6%; the same time, imports of float France glass market share has actually increased by 3 times.
