Art ceramics export upward trend from Jan to Aug this year and is expected to record high level (2009/10/8)

Customs statistics show that from January to August the export value of China Ceramics 542 million USD, up 40.41 %, continue to maintain a higher growth ratio; export volume is 330 million kilograms, an increase of 12.64%, art ceramics export growth continues to lead the Light Product forefront. August month export value of 82 million USD, a decline of 1.20%; export volume is 47 million kilograms, with basically the same as last month.

Ceramic Art of the major export markets still maintain high growth momentum. From January to August exports to EU the amount of 218 million USD, accounting for 40.32% of the total amount of export, up 32.28%; export volume is 111 million kilograms, an increase of 21.35%. Exports to the U.S. the amount of 131 million USD, accounting for 24.14% of the total amount of export, up 19.63%; export volume is 083 million kilograms, an increase of 14.56%. Japan export value of 25 million USD, accounting for 4.65% of the total amount of export, up 16.81 percent; export volume is 016 million kilograms, down 3.28%. South Korea export value of 020 million USD, accounting for 3.71% of the total amount of export, an increase of 154.03%; export volume is 15 million kilograms, down 9.28%. Export of the Russian Federation, the amount of 012 million USD, accounting for 2.28% of total export value, up 29.77%; export volume is 5 million kilograms, down 20.02%.(by China Leiyuan, 2009/10/8)
